Steve is an old friend of mine. We go back many years, to the early 70s, so I know most of the stories in this book. In fact, I've used many of them, in my columns in the Guardian and Prediction magazine, and in my book, The Last of the Hippies. In a sense, then, this book is a rival to my own work. What it means is that I won't be able to draw on the resource of Steve's memory any more for entertaining stories. Not that I mind. It's great to see all these old tales of weirdness and wonder collected together in one place at last. One thing you can say is that Steve has had an interesting life, and that he has explored many avenues of thought and experience in his time on this planet. This is like a guide to the way-out places in the city of the mind, a phantasmagoria of extraordinary experience, made all the more fun by the fact that you are being shown around by Steve, who is always an entertaining companion. Recommended reading for anyone interested in the odd or the arcane, the strange, the deranged or the just plain unfathomable.Product details

Right at the beginning Steve Andrew writes
"... one of my earliest memories was of a man who stood watching me while I lay in my cot. He had long reddish hair and a very high forehead, some sort of white garment on and blue penetrating eyes ..."
This is exactly the description of the race of extraterristrials who reside on a mountain in Finland. They hide their residence by a holographic surface which just shows the top of a mountain. I know this from another book which is officially a SciFi novel but in fact it is a true adventure report (I know this from a trustworthy source).
But this was the beginning of Steve Andrews' really unusual life ... I strongly recommend to read it!!!
